ST. ANSELM’S SR. SEC. SCHOOL ABU ROAD HOSTS GLITTERING PROFICIENCY AWARD CEREMONY
Abu Road, July 27, 2024 — St. Anselm’s Sr. Sec. School in Abu Road celebrated the academic excellence of its students at a grand Proficiency Award Ceremony held on the evening of July 27, 2024. The event, which began at 6:00 PM, showcased the school's commitment to recognizing and rewarding outstanding achievements among its students.The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the onset of enlightenment and knowledge. This was followed by a captivating Prayer Dance, which set a serene and uplifting tone for the evening.
Rev. Fr. Dominic Mundatt, Principal of St. Anselm’s, delivered a warm and inspiring Welcome Speech, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and dedication in achieving academic success. The audience was then treated to a vibrant Theme Dance, highlighting the school's rich cultural heritage and spirit.
A short video clip titled “Awardees at a Glance” provided a glimpse into the remarkable achievements of the students, showcasing their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Subhash Chandra Mahalawat, Former Additional Director of Elementary Education in Bikaner, addressed the gathering with a thoughtful Message. Mr. Mahalawat praised the students for their exceptional performance and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in all their endeavors.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards. The Anselm’s Award was given to all first rankers, celebrating their academic achievements, while the Management's Award recognized students with full attendance from Nursery to XII. The awards were presented by esteemed guests, including Rev. Fr. Cosmos Shekhawat, Vicar General of the Diocese of Ajmer; Rev. Fr. Abraham Vettiyolil, Mission Superior of the MCBS Rajasthan-Gujrat Mission; Rev. Fr. Mukesh Rawat, Dean of Mount Abu Deanery, Very Rev. Philippose Ramban , Manager , Jyotis Ashram, Kui, Rev. Fr. Joseph; Principal, St Paul's School , Sheoganj, Sister Auna; Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Joseph; Bursar, Rev.Fathers and Sisters.
The ceremony continued with a Group Song that echoed the spirit of unity and camaraderie among the students. This was followed by a series of energetic and colorful dances, adding to the festive atmosphere of the evening.
Daksh Bohra, the Head Boy, delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all the guests, parents, and students for their presence and support. The event concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, bringing a sense of pride and accomplishment to all who attended. The Proficiency Award Ceremony was a resounding success, reflecting the school’s dedication to fostering academic excellence and celebrating the achievements of its students.
