Report on Shiksha Saptah Day-7: Community Involvement Day

Overview:

The concluding day of Shiksha Saptah was dedicated to Community Involvement, highlighting the significance of engaging with and contributing to the local community. The activities were designed to instill a sense of responsibility and volunteerism among students.

Activities Conducted:

1. Registration on Vidyanjali Education Portal:

St. Anselm’s Sr. Sec. School officially registered on the Vidyanjali Education portal. This initiative connects schools with volunteers who wish to contribute to educational institutions through various activities and resources. This registration marks a significant step in the school’s efforts to enhance educational support through community participation.

2. Selection of Volunteers for Volunteer Bano Abhiyan:

Ten enthusiastic students were selected to participate in the Volunteer Bano Abhiyan, a campaign encouraging youth volunteerism. The selected students are:

iv. Devansh Hemnani

v. Mohit Bhati

vi. Bhawani Singh

vii. Neel Singhal

viii. Dayan

ix. Paawan

x. Yuganshu

These students will act as ambassadors of community service, inspiring their peers to contribute positively to society.

3. Awareness Rally:

An awareness rally was organized, led by the selected volunteers. The rally saw participation from students across the preparatory, middle, and secondary stages. The aim was to spread awareness on various social issues and promote community involvement. The students carried banners with messages encouraging civic responsibility, environmental conservation, and social harmony.



Conclusion:

Community Involvement Day at St. Anselm’s Sr. Sec. School was a resounding success, instilling a spirit of volunteerism and community service in the students. The day’s activities not only engaged the students but also highlighted the importance of contributing to the community, reinforcing the values of empathy, responsibility, and active citizenship.

Future Plans:

St. Anselm’s Sr. Sec. School plans to continue these initiatives by:
